Armature, as a rotating part of a motor, is structured with armature shaft, armature core (lamination), conductor and commutator.
-
Armature Shaft : Both ends of armature shaft are supported with a bearing and made in order not to be bent or broken for heavy duty in operation, and the pinion sliding part is treated with heat for preventing from abrasion.
-
Armature Core : This core is overlapped with thin steel plate (0.35~1.0mm) for ensuring the proper pass of a line of magnetic force and reducing loss of a magnetic field caused by eddy current, and its outer circumstance is grooved for an armature coil.
-
Commutator: This is coupled with round type by commutator segment or bar by being insulated, and locked with V-ring and V type mica in order not to be protruded by a centrifugal force.
